First it was the Lucky Chair. Then the Mob Vend. Prize Pyramids. Midnight Manias. Lucky Fortunes. Lucky Eggs, Lucky Pumpkins, Lucky Presents. Basically anything with the name lucky in it makes my ears perk up. I recently went to a lil networking gathering at sir Shep Korvin’s place where I had the pleasure of demoing a brand new product by Fnordian Link (the inventor of What’s in the Box? and sometimes collaborator of Shep’s). It’s called the “Haggle Box”.

I think it appeals to the bargain hunter in me. It’s also a hoot to play with. Basically the box and poster will show you what’s for sale. It will have a starting price. Here’s how it works:

• Pay the box you’re desired price. Go ahead, start with 1L! (NOTE: The box can be a lil snarky) hehe
• If the box doesn’t accept your offer, it will counter-offer (and refund your money)
• Repeat, Repeat, Repeat - this is the bargaining part - until you reach a successful offer.

At the opening, I haggled a box for a Haggle Box! The starting price was 400L, and I got my box for 230L! You can go haggle for your own haggle box at Fnordian’s store or Lucky Designs.

So now for the shopper goodies. I’m on a hunt for the Haggle Boxes. I’ll try to keep this list current, so if you find any new ones, please IM me in world, or post a comment here.

Modeling is something I’ve had on my mind for a while and has become the fuel for my love of SL fashion.  It has been a very fun learning experience for me and quite a bit harder then it looks.  I have a new found respect for models now.  It’s not all just standing there and looking pretty on an empty stomach *grins* who knew!

I just HAD to beat Jes to this post! hehe. Elate! just released this new dress called Maria. It comes in 5 colors. You can wear them with or without the rose collars (but I LOVE the collars). Unfortunately, the rose collars are no mod, so you can’t tint them, but if you have the whole set (like I do, hehe) you can mix and match the colors =) Kelli Iwish, the designer also made a matching set of rings, and the pink one is FREE FREE FREE! You can get it by subscribing to the hippogroup subscribey thingie. Look in history. Take a peek, they are gorgeous!!!:

Left to right are the Maria dresses in Night, Plum, Navy, Emerald and Sunny. And the free pink ring in the subscriber group history! I’m also wearing my new Stiletto Moody Bare shoes (all 2199L worth! ouch!), some Tuli Hair, my fave new Tokeo.Plastik bracelets, and a new skin (unreleased) from SkinTight (the photo below shows it off better). SkinTight will be opening thier location in Paris New York soon. I’ll keep you posted!

Yea I fought the crowd….and guess what….these are all mine!

Funny enough…when I was packing them away neatly in my inventory, careful of course not to get misplaced or lost in the fold, I realized i had a folder called “strappy” for these type of shoes.  I have an entire folder of sub par strappy shoes that I forgot all about.  Not that I’m going to wear them now, but nice to know they’re there i guess.. *grins*

I’m going to be like my brother when he got his first pair of Nike Air Jordans, never take them off…rain or shine…sleeping or bathing…and yes his feet stank!  It’s the price for beauty.
