An incredible viral campaign organized by Studio Red and AVENUE…LostAngeL opens their sim doors tomorrow. Bits and pieces of it can be found on flickr, facebook, blogads, in-world groups, video, and radio.
Starting with teaser images last week…all was revealed today in this video and the below statement has been released.

10 May 2009 – At first it seemed impossible to build where once nothing stood. Reports are now in that the station is at last complete, able to sustain life, and a portal to the underworld has been established (provided safety masks are worn). Our first guests are expected soon and we will find out how successful we are at reestablishing life in this new beginning. Mission guidelines have been set for our guests, should they follow them, all should go well. We’ve prepared a map but survivial is up to them.

Big show tomorrow! AVENUE Models presents Spring Showcase 2009 featuring the exciting fresh releases of Malt Fashion, Polina Kaestner, Genesis and B! Fashion. This event will be staged over 4 sims to increase audience capacity of up to 120 guests and 30 VIPs including the press.
The stage and set for this show was built by AnnMarie & Max, and its very smexy - so please come and support. :)

An article in this months Avenue Magazine has sparked the question. Do I want to be a celebrity, also known as an SLebrity. Isadora Fiddlesticks interviewed the well known Phaylen Fairchild, brain child of the upcoming show “I Wanna Be A Celebrity”. Well me personally….I’m too busy to even think about it at the moment, but….what exactly do you think this would entail? It sounds quite similar to the Big Brother hosted in SL back in ‘06, but with a slight twist.
Phaylen says, in the interview, “The Grid is so massive and impersonal that to achieve some sense of community, people have segmented off. Some went off to third party forums or chat rooms, some use other social networking devices to form friendships and get to know people they wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to.” OMG - such a good point! In a place that is so apt for community, entertainment, relationships and all around social camaraderie, why is it so hard to meet people? This is a topic I’m planning on tackling in next months relationship column.
So…do you want to be a celebrity?

I’m GRADUATING! *smiles*
I’ve also been accepted into GLANCE International Agency this week. 
Modeling is something I’ve had on my mind for a while and has become the fuel for my love of SL fashion. It has been a very fun learning experience for me and quite a bit harder then it looks. I have a new found respect for models now. It’s not all just standing there and looking pretty on an empty stomach *grins* who knew!
